Model Specifications:

OIL TANKS, is the first "Scratch Built" model assembled in Dave's Trains and Trees Sonoma County studio. Gilbert Gribi authored an article in Narrow Gauge Gazette March April 1997. Briefly, an excellent model of two elevated fuel tanks. The owner of the Sonoma Mountain Railroad (SMRR) commisioned Dave's Trains and Trees to produce.a model Bar Mills "Twin Horizontal Fuel Tanks Kit #2003" was the source for the tanks. From there it was scratch built. Basswood scale lumber, Board and batten for the shed, Wire for the fuel hose, plastic model sprues for piping, corrugated aluminum roof, a caboose ladder to reach the top platform, etc.
